Tuesday, July 10, 7:30 p.m. – If Everybody Had an Ocean – highlights of the life of illustrious Washburn native, Tom Blake. Presenter is Bob Mackreth, author and historian.
Tuesday, July 17, 7:30 P.M. – Picturesque at all Times: Fashions from the 1890’s, Presenter Mary Nowakowski, former museum curator and asst. professor of clothing history, will also indentify vintage clothing brought by the audience.
Tuesday, August 7, 7:30 p.m. – A Voyage on the C. W. Turner – A look back at the commercial fishing industry of the region. Presenter Bob Nelson is a third-generation commercial fisherman and author of a book about the Apostle Islands.
Tuesday, August 21, 7:30 p.m. – Behind the Gates at Barksdale – Barksdale Works of E.I. DuPont de Nemours Company was once one of the world’s largest explosives plants and the mainstay of Washburn’s economy. Presenter Bob Mackreth.
